5 deeply sexy stars!!! What a great debut book by Dani Rene'....I'm hooked!
Talk about love triangle!! I've read quite a few love triangle books, but I'll say this one has to be one of my top 5 favorites!! Emily has had a rough past and leaves her life behind to start a new one in New York. While there she lands her dream job, where she can showcase her talents. Her boss Tristan is dark and brooding and swears he's never loved anyone and he has no intentions of ever loving anyone. But that's all thrown out the window the minute Emily walks into his office. And well, she can't deny the attraction for Tristan either, well until a handsome stranger swoops in......
What a freaking fantastic book!!! And like Emily I'm torn between Bash and Tristan and I refuse to choose......a girl can have both right?? Great debut novel and I can't wait to read more!! - Melissa from Alpha Book Club ---------------------------------------I have to admit I started Ace of Hearts with fairly low expectations with this being the debut novel by Dani Rene. I can promise you I will not make that mistake twice, this book contained all the polish of a seasoned professional. It hit on all cylinders, the story was thought out, the characters were well developed and the sexual chemistry will have you grabbing either your partner or a cold shower.
I normally do not get too enthused over love triangle stories but the slick way this one developed along with the competition between the two male suitors had me hooked instantly. Triston and Bash are a great dilemma, they are both very similar yet also extremely different. This happens often with brothers, had I forgotten to mention that tidbit, and there is no rivalry like a family one. Poor young, beautiful Emily has her head spinning and her lady parts throbbing, lucky for her she wins regardless of her choice in my opinion.

When she lands it, little does she know the amount of trouble she is causing herself. Her boss, Triston Hart, is your typical CEO - tall, dark handsome (tattooed) and not into love. He doesn't do it after his own heartache, but when Emily walks into his office he is drawn to her in a way he can't describe.
While dealing with an event for work, Emily comes across Sebastian aka Bash. Sexy, funny and seriously good looking she is swept off her feet by him and his laid back attitude. Cue the love triangle and all sorts of issues that come with it.
The question is who will she choose, especially once her past rears its ugly head and threatens to ruin the new life she has built for herself?
I must be honest and say I struggled reading this book. I am not a fan of love triangles due to my own "old fashioned" ways I guess but seen as I've never read one before, I thought I would go out of my comfort zone and give it a try. Good lord how I wanted to punch Emily and her indecisions. I did not agree with some of her views and I found her scenes with Bash hard to take as I fell completely for Triston and he is the one I would choose. And her sex scenes with Triston - OMG what that guy can do! My old fashioned values kicked in with Bash and I didn't like Emily with him although he clearly appealed to her more care free and adventurous side.
I have given this book 4 stars because the writing is fantastic and the characters are very well developed. The book is paced perfectly and does keep you guessing and if you are a fan of love triangles then I urge you to read this as you will love it. Dani René is a freelance graphic designer and newly published author. She started writing in January 2015 and after a few fan fiction stories decided that her first novel Ace of Harts needed to be published. If you can't find her sat behind her MacBook writing, she is probably drinking coffee at a little coffee shop in her home city of Cape Town. She spends most of her time reading, watching TV series, listening to music, at the beach or planning her next tattoo.
